  La semana pasa se llevo a cabo la Small Business Summit 2007 , entre las conferencias que fueron presentadas, la mejor de todas por lejos fue la de Guy Kawasaki llamada The Art of Innovation , como viejo usuario de Mac conozco a Guy desde hace mucho tiempo, por sus notas en Macworld y MacUser, sus libros y por su trabajo como CEO de ACIUS la empresa que producía 4th Dimension Database , de la cual yo era un usuario fanático, tan fanático que llevaba pegado un aviso publicitario de la misma en la carpeta que llevaba en el primer año de secundaria, para quienes no conozcan Guy el era el principal encargado de evangelizar a las empresas desarrolladoras de software para que hagan versiones para Mac de sus productos, en todo el tiempo que estuvo trabajando para Apple acumulo una gran experiencia que luego la empezó a volcar en sus proyectos personales o asesorando a otras compañías, la presentación de la semana pasada giro en torno a encontrar una manera simple, efectiva y altamente emocional Read More... • Updated PositionedNode (DHTML effect) / Arrived in Tacoma

  End of January, I made an update to my PositionedNode DHTML effect, but too busy with WPF activities, I never managed to publish it. Having just sat 14 hours in a plane, I finally took the time to do it. There are 4 major changes: With V1.2, it's now possible to use any CSS unit to position the HTML element, for example em, points (pt), pixels (px). This functionality uses the JavaScript class gslb.CssLength . It's now possible to specify all the style attributes in external CSS files, using either the "class" or the "ID" notation. Of course cascaded classes are supported. When using the method relocate , the new position can now be saved to a cookie. This way, when the page is refreshed, the new location is preserved. Use the options bSaveRelocationInCookie and iCookieExpirationHours to control this feature. The code has been refactored in 2 objects (PositionedNode and PositionedBase) to facilitate future development. The basic class gslb.Object is used for the inheritance. Tacoma, WA Read More...
